Contractors Insurance Need help

Hi Friends,

I am starting my first flip project and trying to get City permit for remodelling I have been asked to get General Contractor Insurance. I tried couple of insurance companies and they don't offer this, can some one please let me know which company offers General contractor insurance so that I can obtain it and present to the city to get permit, and also what is that General Contractor insurance and what does it covers and how much does it cost. When approaching the insurance companies to get this insurance what specifics do they need, can you please help to answer these questions?
