Florida - Rental Property Insurance

I work with a fund down in Florida and we are trying to figure out the best way to do insurance. Our properties are from Naples to North Fort Myers, with the majority in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. I have a bunch of questions in regards to this:

1. How many companies offer named storm in Florida? What are they?

2. We currently have a blanket insurance policy. Does that usually move proportionally as we remove properties (ie if we took off 1 million of a 10 million of insured value, would our premium drop 10%)

3. Do most bigger groups/portfolios use off-shore insurers for this?

Pretty much any info, insight, and knowledge you have - I'd like to get other people's thoughts.

In the end, it might just be that insuring in FL is just part of investing in FL.
