LA (SoCal) Insurance Recommendations

Hi everyone.  I just got dropped by my insurance carrier (AAA).  I had 1 water loss claim on my primary residence back in 2015 and 1 water loss claim on my rental in 2014.  I didn't realize that 2 water loss claims in the past 5 years would result in AAA cancelling my policy, but now I know!  Does anyone have any insurance recommendations for Rental dwelling, renters, auto and umbrella?  I am going to try calling state farm today but was wondering if anyone had any other carriers they could recommend for me to compare.  I had farmers a while ago and i hated the agent.  Thanks in advance.

Joe,

Check to see if American Modern Home or Foremost writes in CA.  If so, they seem to have more lenient guidelines on losses on the rental dwellings.  You should contact an independent agent, preferably one with many markets.  Its likely  you will need to have the home and the rental dwelling in different companies to get the best price/coverage.
