Renters Flooded House

Ok, so I have one rental right now. They called me and said that one of their kids left the water on in the bathroom at night. It flooded the whole house about an inch or two except the kitchen and formal dining. They have renters insurance but that will only pay $1000. Now my insurance said they will cover the damages. $1800 deductable will appy though. Total is damages is $9000 for new flooring, baseboards, etc. Would you just make them pay the deductable or is there something else I should do as well?
