OOS Investor Building in Cleveland Looking to Network

Hey BP,

Remi Oguntoye here. I’ve been investing out of state since 2017 and have focused most of my portfolio in the Cleveland suburbs over the past few years.

I recently picked up another property in Garfield Heights last November and I’m getting ready to list it for rent on the open market.

I currently own 5 units (2 in Poughkeepsie, NY) in the area and would love to connect with other investors who are active in Cleveland, whether you're local or investing from out of state like I am.

Always looking to expand my network and connect with other operators, vendors, and people working in the market.

If you’re investing in the Cleveland suburbs, drop a comment or send me a message.

Looking forward to connecting.

Remi

Hey Remi, great to see another OOS investor active in the Cleveland suburbs — Garfield Heights has some solid fundamentals for buy and hold.

I work with portfolio investors financing rentals in Ohio and surrounding markets — DSCR, portfolio loans, and cash-out refis are the main tools investors at your stage tend to use as they scale past 5 units.

Once your new property is rented and stabilized, a DSCR refi could be worth looking at if you want to pull equity out for the next acquisition without touching your personal income picture.

Happy to connect and be a resource as you keep building out the Cleveland portfolio.

Are you planning to hold Garfield Heights long term or is there an exit strategy in mind down the road?
