Pinellas County STR Investing

Hi All,
We are considering moving to Pinellas County in a few years or sooner. Did not decide on a specific town, but considered Seminole, Largo, Pinellas Park at the moment. The idea is to buy STR property that can also be used when we want to visit for vacation. We would probably use a management company in the beginning but potentially take over when we move. Ideally, we would keep this as STR and purchase another property to live in once we move.

The question is, are the towns I mentioned good choices for what we are looking for? Or should we focus on other areas to maximize the benefit of STR? Also, what would be the ideal price range? Lastly, we are visiting my mother in law who lives in St.Pete in June and would like to check some of the properties at that time.
Thank you in advance.
