Recommendations for first out-of-state investment consulting
My husband and I are considering investing in a STR property in New Orleans with another partner--it is turnkey and everything looks good on paper (I understand the STR situation, we are not looking for feedback on that part). We will need to draw up our agreement for the LLC, however, and we are experienced with STRs in Denver but not NOLA.
1. Does anyone have a similar situation to share your experience or advice?
2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a business attorney and/or accountant who are well-versed in the STR RE market to help us draft our business agreement and offer their expertise?
Our partner is the investor, and my husband and I will primarily manage the property and the business side of things for a 50/50 split.
