I want to connect with private portfolio managers.
Hi everyone,
I would like to connect and speak with private portfolio investors and managers. I’d like to start preparing to move into private management. I don’t expect to move into it right away but i want to start to learn what the expectations are and i want to learn what kind of investors i want to partner with. In another way im also looking for a bit of couching. I plan on owning my own portfolio and would like the advice from other investors. i’m currently with a PM company and have already implemented many things within the office and within operations to make things run better as a company. I was just put in charge of marketing for the company to not only start bringing in new investors but starting something new for the company taking existing clients portfolios and finding under performing units under management and helping client offload and finding new properties to onboard.Before i got into property management i built an amazing career in collections so my conflict resolution is about as good as it gets. In that time i was in charge of client relations of our nation wide client. After that i was put in charge of the legal department handling our nation wide attorney base all of that combined has made my file management and attention to details exceptional. i have already started improving my knowledge of unit turn prices and time frames, cap rates, insurance, taxes, reserves and how to build them over time, and rent analysis.
