The Multifamily mindset program. Disappointing, Stressful Experience and Hospitalized
To MFM and Tyler Deveraux,
I saw a Facebook ad on January 2, 2025, and attended a free event to learn more. At the first event, I paid $1,497 for a three-day seminar. Later, I signed up for the premium program with another person, paying $10,000 to Multifamily Mindset for mentorship, expecting to split costs. However, my partner did not follow through, and everything changed after that.
My coach refused to help with underwriting support, as promised. Instead, coaches and sales staff kept pushing for more payments, rather than assisting with key areas like underwriting. Most of the advertised benefits, such as community access and mentorship, were restricted or removed unless I paid even more. They eventually downgraded my plan but still owe me over $2,000 for the difference, which was never refunded.
Right before the Peak Partnership event, the sales team created so much stress that I became ill and had to check into a hospital while in Orlando. Communication was poor, and I felt pressured and bullied about payments—there was no accountability and no refunds. I regret joining and do not recommend this company.
I am formally requesting a full refund of all amounts paid, including:
- $10,000 for the course
- First event: $1,497
- Peak Partnership: $397
Additionally, I am seeking reimbursement for my Orlando trip expenses, which were a direct result of your sales support representative’s actions:
- Fox Rental: $588.12
- Spirit Flight: $500.00
- LaQuinta Hotel: $275.15
- Food Cost: $500.00
- Clothes Cost: $147.11
- Orlando Health Hospital: $1,750.00
Your sales representative’s conduct caused me significant distress, resulting in hospitalization. I am fully entitled to a complete refund and reimbursement for these expenses. Please confirm when I will receive the full refund and reimbursement. This matter has gone on far too long and needs immediate resolution.
I also have a lot of evidence of how I was mistreated by your support team throughout the entire time I have been with your company.
P.S. The whole MFM team was constantly saying, “you need the right mindset to win.” But the only mindset I gained from your support team was disappointment, stress, and anxiety. All I could think about was, “How am I supposed to close a deal without underwriting support?”
Best,
Wan Tsang
