Huge mistake: listing with Redfin

Came to learn the difference between how pricey agents and Redfin thinks about marketing that is not contained in any detail in listing agreements

Redfin does zero local marketing. They don't do any reverse MLS prospecting nor outreach to anyone in the neighborhood. If you're property needs marketing above and beyond simply putting on the MLS then you need to avoid like the plague

I've sold many flips and rental properties with using a flat fee listing broker. Its purpose was only to get it listed on the MLS. I handled the open houses and contracts. I worked with many great and knowledgeable buyers agents. In my market, I did not see the value in listing with a full brokerage. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but I really didn't see a negative time line of DOM or negotiating with agents and I saved a few thousand dollars.
