Hi BP, new member in Bay area, California

Hi BP,

My name is Raja Minhas and I work as a business analyst in Milpitas/Palo Alto, California. I bought a property in 2005 in northern California (Red Bluff), but ended up giving it back to the bank in a deed in lieu due to it being upside down. Even though I was not successful with that property I learned a lot. My goals in real estate are to learn as much as possible about the industry, join local REI groups, and network with likeminded and successful investors. I would like to get into buy and hold, single family homes that cash flow and then eventually move into multiplexes. My short term goal is to use my VA loan to purchase a duplex/3plex/4plex that will cash flow in the bay area within driving distance of my job.
