what do your biz cards look like?

Question

What exactly should I put on my buisness card? I only have a cell and a email , no fax line or home/office number. Do you put a picture?
            
            I'm looking to do wholesaling or buy low and hold
            
            Does anyone have one they can scan and send, or just ideas will be fine

I just made 2 cards for exactly the same purpose as alan just described above.  He solidified that for me as the best strategy.

As a side note, one book I read said they liked bright neon green.  You may want to test it out, I'm not sure which would pull better.  I'll probably test it too.

I have two cards for two purposes:

1) One is a typical card I give to sellers directly, with other investors, and anyone I'm networking with.  It has all of my personal contact information on it.  It has no picture, contact info, and a tag line or something like "Real Estate Investor" or President of my company's name (I can't remember and it's not on me right now---deadly sin)

2) The others are bright yellow We Buy Houses CASH cards with as much persuasive copy and benefits as I could cram onto it as possible.  It has my seller hotline and web address on it.  These I strew all over the place when I'm shopping, or persuade store owners to leave in a stack by the register.

I agree about not placing a photo.  I use a clean logo and title, and basic contact information (phone, website, etc.).  I have some with other information such as Se Habla Espanol, but its not my main card.  Clean, simple and informative is the way to get your card kept.

Do not put your picture, especially a casual one like your profile picture, on your card unless you are an agent.  They do this to build a brand around their head shot.  My card has my logo, cell phone, title, email, and website URL.  The back is very simple and describes the houses I buy.  Remember that a card has two sides, but some people over do this by cluttering it with too much information.  Simple is better.  If you PM me I would be happy to send you the word doc that has a mockup of my current business card.

Just put what you have available.... cell # and e-mail... I always make sure that there is something in the card describing my business.... rental properties for example. Hope this helps.

My card has my company logo and the words "Real Estate Investor" on the front.

On the back, I have my name, cellphone, fax and logo again.

Very simple, but it is a must for RE agents, and fellow investors.
