Agent says my offer isn't "worth the paper"
not that I disagree, but he's offered to work with me so I'm making offers. So I'm just curious how much "paper" is involved in making an offer? I figured none necessarily, that one could verbally communicate it. Is there much "paper" involved or is he just being totally figurative and it's just not worth his time/embarrassment?

Keep in mind you are not buying the "paper", you're buying the "property"..., and it's not your agent's call on what the property is worth. I've had a number of properties I've had agents say they wouldn't send in because it was "too low"...and I reminded them by law they had to, so they did...and the seller (guess who DOES have the authority to decide if the offer is too low) actually accepted that offer. WOW...what a concept?!
