Are there any investors that have walked away from investing for a while? If so when you returned or relocated how did you get yourself back into the swing of things? Did you start over and if so how did you relearn the business? Thanks in advance.

Contrarian investors have been out for a while. We don't anticipate having trouble getting "into the swing of things", but the next cycle we will make sure to engage our financing partners a little earlier. IMO, it's less (re)relearning "the business" and more learning the market dynamics.

Who knows? It's possible that the next big opportunity will be picking up failed/failing pieces of residential REITs;)
