Meet up in Fort Hood area?

Question

I am moving to the Fort Hood area Feb/March however I will be in town Dec 21st for 3-4 days to close on a couple properties I have under contract. Would love to meet up with some local investors or contractors to see how we could help each other and I could get a feel for the needs of the Belton, Temple, Killeen and Copperas Cove market.

I have thought about buying into that market.  Does anyone know if there is a need for sober living homes in the area?

@Brian Adams Thanks.  i was aware of the meet up group but wont be in town until the 21st and leave before the next one in January. was hoping to catch someone while i was there.

There is a local Investor Meetup that meets first and third Thursdays of the month.  The next one is this Thursday, though I don't know how well attended it will be due to the holiday season.  Usually there are about a dozen or so who show up at El Chico's for lunch and just chat.

I hope to be there myself, and am there fairly regularly.

It's the only meet up type event in our area I am aware of.
