Buying multi fam in Norther NJ

Where would be the best place to buy a multi family in northern NJ, and why? I've looked in the Elizabeth NJ area but taxes are really bad. As a matter of fact, NJ has the highest taxes in the US I think. Thanks in advance for any info. P.s. New here on the forum, so if I'm doing anything wrong, please advise me.
