New Real Estate Agent In NJ - Question about name use

Hi all,

I'm a new agent just going out and interviewing some brokers this week for the first time. It's very exciting to be finally getting this done and taking the next steps to becoming self employed. I can't wait to see how things turn out. 

I have a question for anyone practicing in New Jersey:

I would like to use an agent name that differs from the name on my licensing paperwork. Basically, I want to use my real first and middle name, but completely omit my last name from advertising and marketing material that I use. Mostly because it is way easier to pronounce, and sounds better, than my given name. 

Does anyone think this is possible? I know, of course, that I will have to run this by the broker I choose for approval but I'm trying to figure out if it's even permitted in my state or worth bringing up at all. I understand it might be considered misleading, but I'm hoping there is a right way to do it!
