multifamily investment in Austin, TX area

Hi everyone,

I just started reading Brandon T’s book on investment and got excited about the Biggerpockets forum (great book Brandon!).

I’m looking for an enthusiastic real estate agent who can guide me through the ins/outs of multifamily investment in the Austin, TX area.

A little background about me. I live in the San Francisco/Bay Area. Got into RE investing ~2011 and purchased single family units in the Bay Area (in hindsight, I got very lucky with the timing). I’m looking to consolidate into multifamily units but the Bay Area is quite prohibitive with very low cap rates. My CPA told me to look at TX, hence my search.

Quoting Brandon’s investment approach, I want to find that first essential member on my team – a highly motivated, responsive, trustworthy realtor.

Any recommendations for such a realtor with expertise in multifamily (10-50 units) in Austin, TX would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Charles

@Charles Lee What's your strategy for these acquisitions? Buy/Hold for cash flow, reposition to maximize GRM, IRR, etc...? What type of returns are you expecting?

I specialize in off-market multifamily, 4-150 units. I am not in the market for new clientele, but I can certainly point you in the right direction.
