Hey all! New guy here, moving to Bay Area, CA to start in REI!

Hi everyone!

Matt Lockwood here; a recent graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo; majored in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship. I am thrilled to have found such an amazing network to learn from and contribute to. Big thanks to @Joshua D. and @Brandon Turner for the creation of this awesome learning platform. After having my attention caught by none other than, you guessed it, rich dad poor dad, I made my way through Phil  Pustejovskys YouTube video series, Matt Theriault's EPIC real estate investing podcast, and finally stumbled upon BIGGER POCKETS! Awesome stuff, have been plowing through the podcast episodes listening to several shows per day. Anyways, after a year and a half now of exposing myself to info, sucking up any knowledge I could, and taking a few real estate courses at Cal Poly, I took action and found myself a job on the team of another investor who is currently building spec homes in San Carlos, CA.  I am moving there at the end of this month and will dive in to that on june 1st. I cannot explain how excited I am to learn from and contribute to BP. If any of you who live in the Bay Area, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Jose, Mountain View, or surrounding areas want to get lunch I would be more than happy to coordinate that! I would love to introduce myself and find a way to be of value for any of you investors in my area!
