Wanting to become a Wholesaler in Vancouver? Read this article :(

Hello everyone, I thought I'd share this with those RE investors in the B.C. Lower mainland area who are just starting out with the hopes of becoming a wholesaler. B.C. finance minister Mike de Jong just released new rules prohibiting "Shadow Flipping" (or in other words wholesaling), and I wanted to get some opinions from some of the local Fraser Valley/Greater Vancouver real estate masterminds on their thoughts. Click on article here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/real-estate-shadow-flipping-1.3575906. Additionally for anyone outside the Vancouver market, is this a possible North American/Canadian wide trend that could be implemented going forward ultimately eliminating the business of being an RE Wholesaler? Any and all thoughts and comments appreciated :)
