How do I go about finding a mentor in my area?

I am a Christian and I live in the Southern Indiana( New Albany, Sellersburg area). I am a newbie and am excited to begin this real estate adventure. I am wanting to start by wholesaling but eventually move into owning rentals and flipping houses. I am wondering how do I go about finding ethical mentors in my area?

Thanks so much Paul... I have done some of these things. I have read the beginners guide and am getting ready to purchase the ebook on how to purchase homes with no to low money down. I am just learning about the REIA club meetings. I am wanting to find some in my area so I can continue learning about real estate investing. Thanks again for your help!

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com
