Question about investment properties with polybutylene plumbing

Good morning BP!!

Does anyone have experience owning homes with polybutylene plumbing?  I've heard of issues in the past but I would like the opinions of BP. My interest was high on getting this townhouse until my agent brought this to my attention. This is a bank owned property and I'm thinking of still making an offer of 20% below the asking price ($90,000).  For those not familiar with this plumbing.  I've pasted a link below along with half of what's noted on the site.   Thanks in advance.

So, what's wrong with polybutylene pipes? To put it simply, they have an unusually high rate of failure under normal operating conditions. Deterioration linked to chlorine water additives has been linked to the failures, however customers on private water supplies have reported many problems.
