I Am New to Wholesaling and Need Advice!!

I am new to wholesaling and need some advice. I have been successful in real estate and rentals but I have recently had an interest in wholesale. I have heard many success stories but have a couple of questions. The first question is; do I need the full cash funds to cover any offer I give just in case the seller wants to know if I'm serious? Secondly; is wholesaling something I can jump right in to by going out and making contacts/leads and finding deals? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
