Beginner Wholesale Investor needing guidance

I've been taking pictures and addresses of abandoned homes I've been seeing that could have potential in the Detroit area. I haven't been having luck finding the home owners and being able to contact them to see if they're interested in selling their home. I'm very eager to get a deal under contract just don't know where to go from this point ? Any suggestions ?
