Business books or Real Estate Books?

Question

I was going over the 5 most recent educational books I've read, and all books were either business improvement relation, economy related, or self development related.  I can't actually think of the last time I read a real estate focused book.

My question is do most investors read about real estate or business building?  Also, what is the most recent book you've read and would your recommend it to another?

I always find something worthwhile in every book I read.

The cash flow book may be a little dry for most, but it is a good primer on analyzing investment deals.  I would recommend it to new investors especially because it helps explain many of the concepts and formulas used when analyzing deals.

Mastering Real Estate Investments is a worthwhile reference to have around.  The book is also primarily about analyzing investments and defines many of the ratios and also has a number of detailed case studies.

Last book I read was "Multiple Streams of Income" by Robert G. Allen. Book was sent free so of course I jhad to read it. Anything that deals with real estate is of interest to me. Business news that affects the economy is interesting, but you cannot allow yourself to get caught up in all of the gloom and doom of the reports. Being self-educated through the school of hard knocks, reading about multiple streams of income and then realizing you had already been doing it was refreshing. Any and all reading that you can apply is important for you!
