18-years-old and determined, but where to start?

Hello,

My name is Francois, I just turned 18 years old and have a serious dream of becoming a realestate investor. I want to start a young age, so here I am. I am from the Netherlands but I can speak English really well I think.

I have a small amount of experience, but I think I am one of the most dedicated persons if helped in the right direction.

My advice would be to read everything Real Estate related you can get your hands on!

From there make a list of different strategies of how you could make money in Real Estate.

And step 3 choose a path of investment.

@Francois Francis It all depends on where you think you'll have the most fun, honestly.

I started out with a multi-family, started wholesaling, tried to flip 2 houses, then bought another multi and launched a property management company.

I learned a ton along the way. One thing I realized is that I was most interested in multi-families and I found out I was really good at talking to tired landlords. Thats when I realized what my focus should be.

Educate yourself on real estate investing while working to save every penny. Without money you will be unable to begin. Cash is king, money talks.

go out and make a deal it is the best way to learn

look at it as buying a car

go look around and kick some tires look at it as if you need a house a place to live for 1 year maybe something that needs a little fix up now make the deal happen- owner carry, 5 year balloon with a little money down, there are many ways to buy, you just have to be able to make it happen

once you have one deal done and see the process youll ask yourself why haven't I already made this happen
