How to Generate Real Estate Wholesaling Leads

Question

Has anyone ever considered using SEO for their website? I received a call from an SEO specialist and was telling me that he could rank my website high on Google. Is it more effective than bandit signs and has anyone ever tried using SEO before? Thanks!

The key is to use a diverse marketing technique. At least that works for me. We mix it up, utilize SEO, PPC leads, signs, direct mail, Facebook, and other wholesalers bring us deals too!

Correct @Elizabeth Wilson...and if I may add........know the true cost of a lead. Don't throw mud against the wall hoping for a hit. Segment your market and work smart. Why connect with everyone when you can drill down to just the homeowners that have great equity and are also more likely to want to have you purchase their home....like maybe they are 70 years old now and she is no longer with their spouse..........or they are empty nesters.

@Pat Galvin - SEO is a must for your website but don't use anyone emailing or calling you; like @Mark Wolffer said: those aren't the best companies.  I get multiple emails a day from folks like that. Find a local reputable company who ranks high for SEO.  Or find a VA on upwork.com or some other site like that to do it for you.

The only way to get high on google is to pay large dollars per click, plus the ad has to attract the clicks or else google will list you lower. There is so much competition...SEO has been around forever and if you received a call, most of those telemarketers don't represent the best firms. The question to ask is: "What will it cost me for each click to my site, what is the conversion to a call once on my site. The SEO guy typically won't answer you with any firm numbers.
