Newbie San Jose, Ca investing area Grand Rapids, Mi

hello I'm a big fan of the podcast. It helps me get thru the work grind. I'm a current house hacker in the San Jose area.I have own real estate in South Dakota since I was 19 in the Air Force. So I'm not new to the game just the site. I currently work as electrician and have a goal of buying one multi family unit by the end of the year.  I'm looking in the Grand Rapids Michigan area where I grew up and eventually will move back to if this real estate thing works out.
