REI and Flipping Tips for a Newbie

Good afternoon, I'm trying to get my feet wet in real estate but everything seems a bit much! I'm very interested in house flipping but I'm a little unsure on how to get started. How much should I save up for a flip? What do I need to look out for? Should I have a team of experienced people to help flip? I also want to invest in houses that will appreciate in the long run so I can use the money for retirement. Any tips are great tips! Thanks
