Looking For Areas In Dallas With Potential for Gentrification
Hey Dallas Comrades - My name is Brennen and this is my first post on the BP forums. I'm checking to see if anyone has thoughts on what areas in DFW will go up in value like we've seen happen with Knox/Henderson, the Bishop Arts District (Oak Cliff), Deep Ellum, and other areas.
I'm only 18 so I'm embracing the buy-and-hold strategy to the best of my ability (secondary, however, to the rental cashflow objective) thanks to the long-term opportunity I have to realize the appreciation of any RE investments.
In your opinion, what areas in Dallas have the most promise for a similar lift in value as the examples I've described?

I'm only a contractor but I've definitely seen a rise in the area just west of university park, in the 75220 area. I've seen numerous houses being purchased for under 100k, getting remodeled and then sold for over 200k.
Really, so many areas of Dallas are experiencing that growth.
