Getting out of debt success stories/ advice

Hey whats going on BP! Iam a 24 y/o homeowner have i have 10k debt which from my understanding is pretty low these days. My goal was to buy my house this year DONE DEAL.Now my goal is to reduce personal debt. What was some of your strategies used to reduce your own personal debit. If you don't mind share some of your stories on how you got into debit and other financial advice.
