New investor from Brighton, Michigan

Hello everyone at BP!

My name is Craig Herring and I live in Pinckney, MI which is just south of Brighton, MI. My day job is an engineer at a major automotive OEM.

I've always wanted to get in to RE investing but put it off due to one life event after another. Anyway recently I decided to stop delaying and to commit to becoming an RE investor. So for the past 2 months I've been listening to BP podcasts daily and reading blogs and forums trying to learn as much as possible (there is a lot to learn)!

My goal is to start with a small MFH in Livingston County or Washtenaw County that I can put a little sweat equity into, maybe a SFH if I cant get into multi's at first. I've started looking for deals alone mainly online through Zillow & Realtor and also have drove around looking at properties - haven't found anything yet but its been good practice so far trying to analyze deals!

Anyway nice to meet you all and I hope to interact more on BP...maybe even one day be on a podcast myself!
