How to Remove strong Smoke odors in a room ?

@Pavel K. did you clean all surfaces including the wood work on the vanity and the floor using something like TSP? Every surface in the room probably has tar/smoke smell and needs to be cleaned. Even though you painted the walls, it is important to clean them first. Using odor blocking primer is helpful because the smell can go right through the paint.

You can also keep running the Ozone machine, just for short bursts in the room closed, then air it out. Run a fan blowing air into the room between treatments.

Nothing makes a place smell better than opening all the windows and letting fresh air in. I know it is still cold, but even for 20 minutes is a big help.

Could the smell be coming from your plumbing (drains) ?

We use those aerosol smoke bombs from the janitorial supply that neutralize "fire smoke smell" which is harder to eliminate that nicotine .

They're not expensive .. two or three cans in one small room , close it all up for at least two days. We do that with "burn outs" we buy cheap... works like a charm!

I bought a product called vamoose (? It’s been a while) I bought from amazon and it worked for me. It’s a spray and I used it to wipe down the base boards, blinds, windows, receptacles and doors. I also had an ozone treatment 4 times from one company. I paid once but since the company also continued to smell the smoke, they did the other three for free. It still didn’t do anything and I resulted in further research that lead me to the vamoose.

My primary residence was a smoker's house when I bought it.  The sellers did the ozone treatment (industrial grade) and it was only temporary, as you say.  The thing that worked for us was washing down the walls with TSP (cleaner) and priming with kilz.  Then we painted as normal.  It totally eliminated the smell.
