Is it legal for syndicates to solicit for investors on FB? I thought you weren't allowed to market your fund publicly?

@Marshall Hooper - Yes a 506(c) offering allows you to solicit funds from Facebook, TV, Radio, etc.

However there are more steps involved. 

What I find is that folks are soliciting and they are not following the rules of 506(c) so you need to be careful.
