How to find Probate leads in San Diego?

I would like to find out what is the path of least resistance for obtaining probate leads. Reading on the forums leads me to believe that I have to scour court house records for hours. Is there a more effective way to find probate leads?

@Robert Mora  Try this website for your path of least resistance for obtaining probate leads

http://adtech.dailyjournal.com/legalads/ When this window opens click on "search" in the small blue bar - next to category click on the drop down bar for "probate" and for newspaper click on bar for "San Diego Commerce" then click on blue "search" bar.  This is more of an effective way to find probate leads.

Or grab the San Diego Tribune or on-line  http://www.legalnotice.org/pl/sandiego/ and look for "Notice of Petition to Administer Estate" to start your path of least resistance.

Make sure you cross reference the decedents residence at time of death (DE-111) with your title rep. or you can pull tax records when you scour court/probate files at the Madge Bradley bldg. Those are two of the adjudicated papers listed for San Diego county.

On the Daily Journal website you can always re-set the "from" date field..

Obituary's are not probate's, court cases are probates..

Pay a service to sell them to you.  It'll cost, however it beats pulling and looking at files that you may not know what you're looking for.
