Starting a career in property management
So I’m really interested in the idea of property management. I feel that starting in a career that is involved with real estate investing will really help me evolve to the next level of investing and also give me a solid W2 income. I am just wondering if anyone in Richmond Va or a surrounding area know of any great management companies. Thank you all !

Do you want to work with an existing company or start your own?
If you want to start your own, I recommend reaching out to the owner's of rental listings on places like Zillow, Craigslist, Apartments.com, etc. You already know they have a "need" because they have a vacant unit. However, you will likely need experience managing a property or two before strangers hire you.
If you want to work with an existing company, I recommend making a list of all the property management companies in your market (you can simply perform a Google search or look at rental listings) who manage the types of properties you want to manage (either SFRs, small multifamily under 50 units, and apartments) and start reaching out.
