Creating An Investment Firm(Advice)

Hi Everyone, 

Brief Bio: 

  • Age: 25 
  • Education: Finance MBA (Non-Ivy) 
  • Occupation: Securitized Products Group Internal Auditor at a Big Firm. Mitigating risk within, CMBS & Tax Oriented Investments(Structured Housing,Direct Affordable Housing)
  • Finances: I recently made a good amount of money in the stock market 1/4 Million

Intentions: I've had a deep passion for Real Estate for a long time. As a result, I want(will) to create a Commercial Real Estate Firm.

Question: I come to the pros to ask: How do you all recommend I go about creating a Commercial Real Estate Investment Firm?

Considerations: Real Estate Cycle, Would like to begin in Central Florida.

@Tawn T. I'm excited for you!  I grew a firm from my spare bedroom to 80 employees and over 200m in AUM by end of this year. BTW, I'm just getting started!

I built the foundation first on property management services to clients. This allowed me a recurring income stream with which to build from. Deal fees alone won't get you there. You need to sell services, a product, something that you can consistently duplicate! A formula if you will. I did this by do something most people didn't want to do; property management.

I'd wish you luck but luck doesn't really exist! You make your destiny every minute of every day.
