Best degree for real estate investing?

Question

I’m 24, mainly interested in multifamily buy and hold investing and i recently joined the national guard and have the opportunity to go to college for no money out of pocket but really have no idea what path to take. I was thinking about getting an mba but would i be better off with something more real estate specific? Thanks for the help in advance.

From my limited experience, I've learned more by just "doing it" than any amount of business schooling.  If my education was paid for though, I would consider accounting. Could help you get a greater grasp on the analysis.

I could see how a MBA would come in handy.  My husband took some business classes in college, so when the banks ask us for our balance sheet and profit and loss papers he has no problem coming up with them.
