RE Investing In Cape Town, SA

Hello BP members, My wife is South African and I am American. We are currently invested in North Carolina and happy with this market, but we are also starting to looking at some opportunities in Cape Town, South Africa. I wanted to see if anyone had any experience or information on strategy for setting up RE investments there. We have identified an 8 bed 2 bath house in a student area for about 2.8 million Rand. On its face, it looks like a good opportunity. The main questions we have before moving forward are whether we should hold the property as a second home, in a LLC, or a PTY Limited. Each structure would have different tax impacts. We are also trying to decide whether it makes sense to purchase via US based financing or South African.
