When buyer you assigned to leaves deposit, who does it go to ?

Ive been getting sidetracked and got stuck with analysis paralysis which has kept me from getting out there and getting a deal done, but I am finally ready to get started this week and this is my final question. For example, if i get a property under contract for 30k, and a find a buyer to assign to for, lets say 50k, and i ask them to leave a deposit for $2500, on closing day does that deposit amount go towards my fee, or does it go to the seller?
