Title search needed when title insurance provided by seller?
Sorry for the ignorant question, but I've never before bought at a foreclosure auction. If a property is listed at auction and the seller has indicated intent to provide title insurance, is there still any need to run a title search? Perhaps it's a very dumb questions, but I want to cover all bases by getting educated before I consider it.

we never use the title company that auction . com or other auction sites use.. the catch is hey use our title company and title insurance is free.. use your own and you pay for it.. having made title claims in the past.. with title insurance companies. you get what U pay for.. we always buy our own from my go to title company..
