Buying and renting property in Camden, NJ

I have had the idea on starting my path towards owning property for a long time and I decided to work towards that idea to make it a reality. I have been researching Camden, NJ for some time now, and I have visited the location a few times to get familiar with the area. I believe it would be a good place for me to begin investing, and I would like to know if there is any one that has had any success in acquiring property here and what I should be mindful of and maybe some advice about investing in this particular location.
