New to Real Estate Investing - Need Connections

Hey guys,

I am new to the Bigger Pockets community, as well as to the idea of real estate investing, and I am looking to make some connections with investors in a couple areas of interest. I have been watching the youtube channel for BP, reading books, and following some of the discussions here in the forums, and I decided that I need to get in on this real estate investment lifestyle. I am currently looking into the markets around Savannah, GA (I live about 45 mins. west of Savannah), Jacksonville, FL, Tampa, Fl, and Cincinatti, OH. As I am new to this whole business, I am looking for people that I can get in contact with who are currently investing in those markets.

I am most interested in multi-family properties, eventually leading into syndication, but for now I need to make some contacts. Can't make any of this happen without a team, so I would like some suggestions. I hope to develop a community of contacts that will allow me to find and purchase my first property in any of these areas.
