New to BiggerPockets and Real Estate

Hi All - I am amazed by all of the information and resources that the BiggerPockets community has brought together here. I have always thought real estate is something that I should consider but I have never really known where or how to start. I can't really say that anymore!

Currently, I work in construction in Seattle and the Greater Puget Sound area, and own a single family home in Lake Stevens, WA. The construction trades are hard on the body, so I am very interested in rental property investments as a way to transition out.

I am looking forward to reading and learning as much as I can from everyone here. Hopefully one day I'll be able to return the favor and start contributing to the conversations as well.
