Where do you get your kitchen cabinets for a flip?

Question

Menards quoted me $6100... the RTA store is $5300 (not assembled).

Where does everyone else get their cabinets? IKEA is no where close. I would think I need a soft close as this is a $150K house in an A area.

Any suggestions?

In Oakland, CA, both Sincere Hardware and Granite Expo are (or at least were) cheaper than Home Depot and Ikea.

Did a few kitchens and i agree with everyone here on the big box retail. If you buy HD or Lowes off the rack it is almost headache free. One is dinged and you take it back. Set them a couple inches below ceiling and then have a skilled carpenter come in and place crown and trim—can turn out really nice, especially with nice countertops and under-mount lighting.

I got mine from Ikea. You do run the risk of them not delivering on time or forgetting critical parts/pieces since they use a 3rd party delivery company. I have had friends and colleagues have good success with Home Depot. This will really depend on the area you are flipping in because the end buyer will expect a certain level of finishes in order to pay top dollar.

Next Day Cabinets. I have no idea if they are regional or national. I have received many compliments on the quality of their Forevermark Cabinet line.

I generally use Home Depot's white Shaker.  Can get it in 30, 36, and 42 inch uppers which is great.  Just have my contractor install them.  For more upper end in my area (400K+) , I use a G. S. Building Supply in Seattle for nicer white Shaker.  Then have my contractor install them.  Can get the cabinets from either in a week or so if have to order sizes.  Home Depot has most standard sizes in stock.

Haven't done a flip. However, we get our cabinets pre fabricated from Home Depot and have a carpinter install them.
