Office manager refuses to remove the $400. PET Deposit
While I was waiting for my doctors appointment (regular consistent mental health Dr.) the apartment complex served me a letter that they were notified of an animal and placed a $400.
Once I had the letter in hand I took it to the office and they refused to remove the pet fee because the animal was already in the home.
I would not be able to have the ESA without a pet! They are talking in circles and now I am unable to pay the rent because it is far past my budget.

She brought the animal into the property without any doctors approval, so how is that not a pet? It is like getting pulled over for driving without a license, then getting your license the next week and expecting the ticket to disappear. This appears to be a situation where she got caught with a pet and rushed to get a doctors note to avoid paying the fees.
Not cool to accuse the apartment complex of discrimination, just because they followed a process and she thought the rules didn't apply to her.
