my name is Crencenthia (centhia). I'm located Durham NC. I had has bigger pockets for about 2 years and just didn't use it. Now I know for fact this is what I want to do. Becoming  real estate investor. What I want to start with is flipping homes and then also get rental properties. I don't have the funds so I know I'll have to go other routs to founding. I was just invite to investor meeting,I'm happy about that. I also know I'll need mentor too. I want to make sure I don't make any bad mistake starting off. Please if anyone have and advice for me I'm open to hear it all. I sit back way to long and I'm  so ready to start my new chapter in my life. Thanks

Hi Crencenthia! Not sure which meeting you've already been invited to, but since you're in Raleigh I definitely recommend checking out the Triangle Real Estate Investors Association (TREIA), particularly their meeting for new investors that happens at the beginning of every month. They provide lots of inspiration for new investors, ideas for getting started, and opportunities for meeting people.  You can find info about all of the TREIA meetings on their website.  There's also a bigger pockets meetup at the beginning of the month which unfortunately usually conflicts with the TREIA new investors however.  If you set up keyword alerts for Raleigh on BP then you'll get a notification when it's announced each month (also it's handy to see what other folks in the area are talking about on the forums, if you haven't done that already!)

Good luck!
