With the stock market prices going down right now what are you buying or keeping your eye on?

I figure this would be a great time to buy stocks or mutual funds. I have 5000 to spend and I wouldn't miss it if something happened

@Tony P. if you want a high risk/high reward type of equity, you could look at a REIT like SPG or travel stock like CCL. Or an oil play like USO.

Just hang on to your britches, and don't be surprised if you find yourself walking around naked at some point 😬

With the bad news out of Saudi Arabia, oil and energy related equities are very cheap.

It'll be a rocky ride, and I would expect a quick turnaround, but it's an essential global commodity no matter what happens in the short-term.

I'm not an active market investor (what a fun ride it has been today for my mutual funds and 401k), but I dont know that I would buy quite yet.  I have to imagine that uncertainty with the OPEC+ fallout and corona virus dynamic duo will continue to have negative effects short term.  This will lead to a great time to buy, I just dont think that time has come.  Could be wrong though.
