Newbie Member for NWI (Valparaiso) here

Hello everyone. Just figured I'd introduce myself as a new member here. My name is Aaron Fletcher and I'm very interested (and excited) in putting together a buy and hold real estate portfolio. Currently my fiance and I are both bartenders at some fairly lucrative places in Valparaiso, IN. As comfortable as we might be at the moment, we know that eventually the music will stop and we want to have a seat when that time comes. I discovered bigger pockets after reading a couple of Brandon Turners books (The book on Investing in Real Estate with no Money Down, The Book on Rental Property investing.) I fell in love with bigger pockets through their podcast when covid as I now spend my entire work day delivering food instead of slinging drinks. Thanks for everything guys, this site, the books, and your podcasts have been super informative and have solidified my decision to start my real estate journey.
