New to Investing (Hampton Roads, VA)

Hello Everyone,

I'm 21 years old in the military & currently deployed in Somalia. I'll be heading out of here in about a month & returning to Hampton, VA, where I've been stationed the last 3 years. My goal is to hopefully buy my first rental property this year. I've come to this site because I've been doing a lot of research & watching a lot of videos, & although I can put together most information myself I know there is a lot more I can learn. Anyone willing to help me out with advice, tips, or tricks would be much appreciated.
